Sugar free candy. Or toothpicks. That what a friend of mine did when she was quiting. She just chewed on toothpicks for hours on end. Took care of the oral issue and what to do with your hands issue.
Good luck. I'm pulling for you. You'll be happy you kicked this habit in a couple years.

If i remember correctly smoking produces a chemical in your brain that helps make a person happier, which is why a lot of people continue to smoke besides addiction of nicotine. Exercise releases the same "happiness" chemical as smoking.
I'm pretty sure chocolate has the same effect. I'd suggest try doing more things that increase your happiness :).
~Not saying you are not a happy person already~

If you say you are going to quit smoking at some future point, you are not really serious, and you are not going to do it.
You have to decide to quit and do it immediately, throw away all your smoking materials and start thinking of yourself as a non smoker.
Thats what I did, tossed a whole carton, lighters, ashtrays everything, havent had one since, that was 1971.
Thats how everybody I know did it.
Never have I seen it work when people said, "I'm quitting tomorrow".

Well Marla,
You could always go to a testicular cancer support group meeting or something for pancreatic cancer support, then meet up with Robert (Bob)Paulson and his Bitc* Ti*s...then get into a fight with Tyler Durden. That would be a good thing to do..... These things seem to help....and remember the first rule of our club
Other than that, try the patch or suckers/ hard candy if you must have something in your mouth.

I am a Representative of the tobacco company and I have just one thing to say to convince you to continue to smoke............. COME ON, COME ON. But seriously if you are quitting try replacing smoking with running or going to the gym or just everyday go for a walk in nature. Good Luck

I recommend checking into the Lewinsky Treatment Center and enroll in one of their entry level courses, like "Oral Fixations 101 and How to Make Them Work For You."

hard candies or anything remotely healthy that you can snack on like carrot sticks, grapes, etc. so your not packing on the pounds on top of your metabolism slowing down as a direct result of your quitting.
Good luck! I know it's hard and am trying to get the momentum to quit again. I used the patch to help reduce cravings but to each their own.

Quiting smoking is the easiest thing in the world to do. I should know, I've done it a thousand times. I'm gonna quit again today. LOL
If GOD wanted us to smoke, he would have put a chimney in our forehead.
