I want to start a marketing research business from my home.where do I begin?

I am currently working pt for a research company.I see the potiential to have a more dedicated co. I would like some direction on how to start a co. at home or in a small office. I know there is plenty of business to do for companies.

Try to get your current employer to hire you as a consultant, then just send out proposals, pick up the phone, and get yourself in at as many companies as you can.
