Personally I believe in ouija boards and spirits and all that stuff. Please don't go and tell me I'll go to hell for messing around in that stuff. But me and a few friends want to make a home-made ouija board, but we're not sure how. Could you explain how to make one and then what to do with it? Thanks =]

Get a flat board and write the numbers 0 through 9, and the letters of the alphabet. (in order). Then, use something that will slide across the board fairly easily.

The idea is everyone places a couple fingers on the object, you ask a question, and the present spirits will direct you to an answer.

If you are with your friends, if you light some candles and dim the lights it can be really creepy! And fun.

Ouija boards and other talking boards are just tools for divination. If you are not open or have not conditioned yourself to successfully practice the art of divination the board or any other divination tool, for that matter, will not work for you.

It is the same concept as a person who approaches a loom and has never used one before but the weaver, they would know because they have been trained. With the skill and training the weaver can manipulate the loom to create the most beautiful tapestries you'd ever see.

The Ouija board works the same way. You can sit down with one and try to use it but without the understanding of divination it may not work for you.

A simple OuiJa board can be made with slips of paper with letters on them and numbers if you wish, as well a two slips that say Yes and No. Arrange them in a circle on a smooth surface. Place an upside down glass in the middle of the circle and have those who wish to participate place a forefinger on the edge of the glasses bottom. Ask a question.

Remember, the glass and the slips have no power. Your hidden thoughts, needs, and sometimes devinations will start the glass moving for good or evil.

If the Christians' faith is so strong, why are they so afraid of The Ouija Board toy made by Parker Brothers? Is it that they have created entities called demons by their faith that such things are real? Is it because they are hiding the evil that dwells within them and are afraid of anything that might shed light on their darkness? Is it because many Christians believe in the malignant spirits. That they believe they might become or draw malignant spirits to themselves via their own darkness?

OuiJa is nothing but an amplifier of what is within those who play with this "toy."

I won't tell you you're going to hell, but I will suggest that you are wasting a great deal of time and energy on a parlor game. Believing that mucking around with Ouija boards will allow you contact the spirit world is rather like believing that playing Monopoly will make you rich.

I won't, but I will tell you where you shouldn't go. Don't do online ouija why? most of them are phonies. The interactive board at the Museum of talking boards, for example are phonies. If this was a real board, the spirits would know your name. I tried several different tactics to stump the board. They couldn't even give me the square root of 54. as for home made one, I can't help you there.

not religious not saying your going to hell but ouijas are dangerous no one should use them cause the channel is too wide that the spirits come through and you have no way of knowing who or what will come through. do a saence or get a nice deck of tarot cards but avoid the ouija's for your own safety.

If you want to learn about the subject without having to sort through a lot of anonymous answers by strangers, about whom you know nothing, including whether they know anything, there's a way to learn.

The reading list below can act as a source for you. Most of the titles can be found in your local library. If they don't have them they can borrow them from another library.

Don't do it. I don't think you will go to hell, but you run the risk of having your house haunted or getting possessed. That's how the whole thing started in 'The Exorcist.'
