1 dollar equals R$ 2,035 ( two reais and thirty five cents) today's rate.
And as due to the stock market flotation, it's good to keep and eye on currency converters sites as I put one below and there are others that our friends have placed above.

If you mean Real to Dollar exchange rate today Aug 22 2007 it is 2 Reais per Dollar
