You always hear people say that they liked the book better than the movie. What movies have you seen where it was better than the book upon which it was based?

My answer would be The Notebook...the movie was far better than the book by Nicholas Sparks.

I never think the movie is better than the book ,because the book always goes into more detail . however there is one point I do agree with you on and that is the notebook . the notebook never detailed the fact that her mother was going to marry someone else . good luck .

I think "A Clockwork Orange" was a better movie than a book. Stanley Kubrick brought a lot of style to the project.

I sort of agree with you. I didn't think the book was terrible... I liked the ending in the movie better than the ending in the book.
