My friend is going Jamaica on Wed to Montego bay so the airport must be open. Virgin have not cancelled the flights.

Yes, the airport opened earlier today. I actually received a call from Air Jamaica confirming that my flight will be leaving as scheduled tomorrow morning. I am receiving mixed info about the damage Dean caused...I will just wait and see for myself and make the best of it.

hello, i am going to montego bay in october i done some looking into things and have found out that the airport reopened yesturday.

Airport resumes service tomorrow for most US flights.
Most of the north island is just fine.
Negril is especially Ok considering
