who sang the original??????????

who sang the original version of "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone", So many covers but i cannot find the original anywhere, any one know? xx

It was Bill Withers back in the early 70s, 1971 to be exact. He was also famous for his huge hit, "Lean On Me", and later had a big hit with Grover Washington, Jr, singing, "Just the Two of Us".
