I hope the NFL doesn't let him play again. With the new Commissioner its hard to guess what he will do in the long run. I hope he gets banned forever. What he has done is far worse then the whole Bangles team as a whole. I don't see him getting any endorsements back after this.
He could play again because he brings in tons of money for the NFL and Atlanta and Money Talks.

I think it will be a shame if the NFL gives him a second chance but they may. He should be sentenced to a harsh sentence for killing innocent animals. He and his so called friends (who sang like birds to the authorities and turned evidence against him to save their hides) are lowlifes and he should be banned from the NFL for life. If they give him a second chance, I will not ever root for the Falcons again. I will still root for my home teams-the Giants and the Jets but the Falcons will be D.O.A. to me! He is scum! Hopefully, this will bring dogfighting to light and there will be a crackdown on the abuse/killing of animals by sick so called humans. If the NFL gives him another chance, I will lose respect for the whole league!

I don't think the man should be banned from playing football for life. There's crooks in every profession who never get caught. I think anyone should be allowed a second chance. Although I believe he used his power and influence totally in a wrong way. I am disappointed in many stars who have money, clout, and fame and who abuse it. But at the same time they're all people, and people make mistakes. He's getting punished now far more than you really think. I believe in second chances and forgiveness.

I think he will do a year in jail & then he will be allowed to try to play football in the 2009-2010 season. We are in America & he plead guilty & will do his time & should be allowed to continue his football career. I'm not saying what he did is acceptable but he is human & made a mistake & is ready to do his time for his crime.

Bascially his big time career if over. This whole dogfighting thing has created so much baggage for him, that any team that signs him (it won't be the falcons), would have to endure so much crap, it would not be worth it for a non-starter.

i dont care that much for him. there are more than just him dog fighting. people act like when he goes to jail, dogfighting will disappear and athletes wont do it anymore. dogfighting wont go because of this and it will just be more secretive. being mad at vick wont help dogs one bit. its up to the police to stop it and theyre doing a pisspoor job at it and they only targeted vick because hes a star with money.
