This is my first month trying to use an ovulation kit. I have only been using it for three days.. and so far every day the test is negative. SIgns I am ovulating are there though.. sore boobs and clear & stretchy cervical mucus.

I've heard of sore boobs as a sign of ovulation. I actually used the OPK's for the past 3 months, and I FINALLY got a smiley face today. Maybe I didn't use it accurately the first 2 times. I actually had the fertile cervical mucus for the past 4 days and I got the positive result today, so a total of 5 days. GOOD LUCK GETTING PREGGO!!!!!!

They are very accurate in detecting the LH surge which occurs 24-36 hours before ovulation. The fertile mucus is present usually for a few days before ovulation. I've never heard sore boobs as a sign of ovulation.
