Ok , i asked wat kind of totes i should use, and ppl kept saying ones from abercrombie, hollister, etc. but i'm going into 10th grade, those are way too small, and unsturdy for textbooks, binders, etc, those are like good beach bags...so what tote bags should i use that will last a long time, sturdy, and big???????
thank you =]

Technically, a tote isn't supposed to be all that sturdy, not for so much weight anyway. Your best luck is to go with some sort of bag that is oversized, so it still looks like a tote, but is bigger and holds more stuff in it.
Abercrombie makes them, I'm sure. I know someone with a tote-like bag, except that the shape is more rounded and it's much larger than a tote bag. It's both useful and cute. Just go in one of the stores you mentioned and ask if they have anything bigger.

OK. Well there isn't really a bag that fits your description. The bags from Hollister and A&F and AE are the tote bags that girls use. If they aren't what you are looking for. Get a backpack. Serisously, save yourself from the pain.

seriously, get a backpack. they are much better for your shoulders and your back. try lands end or LL Bean. They have wonderful, super durable back packs and bags. Eddie Bauer also used to have some great bags/back packs.

bags shops will in all likelihood have Jansport tote bags. they arrive in some quite lovable colourful varieties, and that they are going to be made properly sufficient to hold up while carrying heavy books.

I use a bag made by marimekko, a finnish company. check their website (google it). They have cute prints and sturdy fabric. Plus there's plenty of room! good luck!
