To little to late, where was this brush with integrity 4 weeks ago. He waited till his BOYZ rolled over on him. Lets all just put this piece of crap (Vick) behind us, and hope he never appears in the NFL again.

He's not taking responsiblity, he pleaded not guilty and made everyone go through this crap for the last week or so. IMO, he should get the full sentence for lieing to the judge and then, when everyone else was coping pleas, he finally says "yeah, I did it". Thanks for wasting everyones time when everyone pretty much knew he was guilty as hell. His career is done, I think he should get around 2-3 years in prison, and if I was Goodell, his 2 year suspension (at least) would start once he gets out of jail...so youre looking at 4-5 years down the road, having not played football

I'm sorry but I can't applaud Micheal Vick for stepping up and being a real man by taking responsibility for his actions. I think the only reason why he is finally do it because of his career, I can only imagine all the kids that look up to him, and how they see there hero now.

yeah, but he was guilty from the start. if anyone had this choice they should make a plea deal instead because you might get a much lighter sentence, while a trial means only a win or lose. a plea deal can almost assure you of both and have a small jail time served and even less because of good behavior. Vick might come back in a year or two if he does get a light sentence and a small NFL suspension

Sadly it is the smartest thing he has done in the last few years. Think about the choices you have made when pleading guilty to a federal case where you will end up in jail for at least a year is the smartest thing you can do. Pretty sad.

Yes. He finally stood up like a man and took responsibility for his despicable actions. He could have gone to court and had a long, expensive trial and would have probably been found guilty and faced a longer sentence and bigger fine(s). He is a horrible human being and an overrated QB (more of a running back). He should have known better. He could have used his money and fame to set up college scholarships for poor kids who excel in sports but chose to abuse and kill animals instead in a sick bloodsport for money. Shame on him! Hopefully, he'll get jail time! I hope the NFL bans him for life!

Are you kidding??????? He doesn't care about what he did....and chances are when he gets out he'll probably do it again because he can. The only reason he is taking the deal is because the other 3 guys took the deal and told the prosecutors of michael vicks involvement and the rest of the evidence would have convicted him. So lets see.....go to court and possible get a max sentence of 5 years or take the deal and get 1 year......let me think about that. Being responsible and admitting he was wrong, please he is being smart

LOL. Vick is not pleading guilty out of any guilt he feels. He is pleading guilty because of the evidance stacked against him and he knows he is done. There is nothing to applaud about that.

He's in a tough situation. I don't condone anything that he has been "alledged" in doing, but for him to possibly end his career by pleading guilty to dogfighting charges.
But no we should not applaud someone for admitting their guilt. He's one of the dumbest human beings alive.
He's playing a game that many dream of and he just threw it away.

He's taking responsibility because his high octane lawyers have told him to. If you think he's sorry for any of this, you are mistaken. I don't think "sorry" comes easy or often to someone capable of the kinds of acts that Vick has admitted to indulging in.
