HSM2 got a HUGE turn out from audiences, and to say nothing of the fact that it was their first really successful movie that hasn't involved pixar in over 10 years. They also managed to pull off what lord of the rings did. They paid c-grade actors to work for them and now apparently they're important.
As long as the lead roles don't start doing coke and end up like lohan (isn't she dead yet?) you'll be able to dance and sing your pre-teen heart out.
Although I still don't see what they like about the film.

*sighs* ill say that the first wasnt half bad. the second was pretty good. and so my prediction: the third will be a total let down!! it always happens. its gonna get so big that it wont be possible for it to live up to the hype. im sure it will be in theaters. i have no doubts about that. but really, how much more can those kids dance? they've used every dance move in the book, and even made up a few of their own. but likeeee, i guess little 12 yr olds are gonna wetting their pants in all the excitment. you wouldnt BELIEVE how big the second one really was. i work at dominos, and i even had ppl on the phone like 'omg im sorry the kids are so loud. highschool musical is coming on' 'my kids are having a highschool musical PARTY'. lol

Yes. It was slated to be (working title) Haunted High School Musical, but that can always change. It is scheduled for wide release this time (in regular movie theatres) and they have just announced that they are working on HSM4... that's right folks, it's not going away anytime soon.

Yes, they are revising the script and talking to talent. Originally it was going to be a "Haunted High" theme, but now it will be a "Graduation" theme.

Yes, there is. Hopefully, the original actors reprise their roles, otherwise it won't be the same!
