It is unlikely you can put on the production. It would be very expensive. Having the script is not enough and since Wicked is on Broadway, Hollywood BLVD. and is having an ongoing touring company, the charge would be more than a school could afford. Further it is indicated that it is not being licensed at this time. (See Below).

A high school can not perform a play or musical while it is still being performed on Broadway. Wicked still is. Sorry.

To find the script, you'd need to buy it from something like Ebay. There's no way to legally print it up.

If you go to Barnes and Noble, there is a book titled Wicked, The Musical.(obviously).It's hardcover, and quite a large book. It's got everything you need to know about the play.It also includes the script and the sheet music to defying gravity.I got it for 40$, but it was so worth it.

Songbyrd11 is correct, I just wanted to add that performing a restricted production can cost you big time.. the fines and legal fees would be out of this world.

There are myriads of other shows that are available, though! Check out MTI International for ideas.

I don't think you can do it at school yet. Our school tried, but we couldn't get the rights or something? I don't remember.

I found the script on ebay once though.
