Social interaction. Man/woman is a social animal by nature. Even before we became civilized, it was apparent that man could not survive on his own. Like the cliche, it takes a village to raise a child. By making new friends and meeting new people, you are in effect increasing your odds of survival and the survival of your offspring. It is also exciting to meet new people especially if they do something that seems exciting. Whether we like to admit it or not, we become bored with the same ole same ole. Even if your best friend is a stunt man, eventually the stories would become boring. So it is in our best interest to meet and befriend as many people as possible. However, beware, not everyone you meet will have your best interests at heart, sometimes what is good for you will not be in their best interest. And as we all know, people are more selfish than ever before. Look out for number one because no one else will.

I believe that people have a hunger of the feeling when you first meet someone new. And the key word is "NEW". It is good to meet new people and to learn things from others and maybe help others through life. It is healthy to meet new people but you can only have one true friend that will be there for you always no matter what time or what situation.
Be careful who you let in your life. It's just like when you buy these great new jeans, they will not be good until you wore them for some time to fit to you perfectly.

Not only is meeting new and Different people good for you as a person, its good for society. The more we are all friends the better, dontcha think?

Everyone needs new people and old friends. Old friends are the comfortable, the norm, us in our underwear kind of safety. New people are exciting and dramatic. They are an opportunity for us to try out new and undiscovered facets of ourselves. New friends and old inspire us to live more complete lives and to be more complete people.

When you're young and single, meeting new people widens your choice of friends and that special someone who might someday be your other half.

because without interaction, what is the value of life? we have goals and meeting those goals is no fun unless we have people to share our success with. and most people come and go in your life, so we have to keep bringing new ones in to replace them. we're setting ourselves up for marriage and kids and all the other things life brings us.

I believe that everyone we meet is brought into our lives for a reason, no matter how brief the encounter. We learn from others, others learn from us.
