I still don't get it.
Is this a generalization or do they honestly believe we are rich/wealthy? I do not understand the train of thought that goes behind their "logic", even when I was a liberal!

bbbbbbbriggs04 - I am not surprised you showed your lack of intelligence once again. It's a Blue Moon... maybe you can't afford premium beer? Cheesedoodles, WTF is that? Popcorn maybe, or even Cheetos. This is reality, why don't YOU come and join US here?

Yes, we know, because you cons accuse us liberals/lefties of the same. We know that many of your comrads live in trailer parks as well. The rest of you on Yahoo answers keep bragging how employed you are compared to liberals. Hilarious. Especially when it is us blue state liberals supporting the red welfare states. Which is it? The truth of the matter is that we all work, poverty hits all classes and political affiliations and some liberals and conservatives are very wealthy. Try to accept that and stop bragging about how many jobs you work and pointing fingers at libs for not working. I live in the blue state of California and 99% of us all work.
Anyone can get rich whether they are conservative or liberal. That's a no brainer and it isn't that difficult if you want to go into business or own your own business. So what. there is much more to life than getting rich. And, it certainly doesn't prove your intelligence or your morality.

I don't think that way. Every single conservative I know is worse off financially than every single liberal I know. The difference is that I'm not attributing ideological causes nor confusing correlation with causality.
But on the other hand, I wouldn't say that all liberals are rich and wealthy, that is also a generalization. Politics isn't all about economic issues, it has to do with a lot of social issues and (shocking, I know) political issues as well.

Here's one liberals/Dem take on Republicans...
All are rich? Hardly. I would think income levels are somewhat even between Dems and Reps.
Those with wealth and means driving the party message? Again, same for both.
My take on the difference is Republicans believe they are all under one tent and equal in stature with one another, just by being Republican.
Democrats know this just isn't true, there will always be the haves and the have nots, even, and especially, in their own party.
The goal is not becoming equal in economic class, it is being treated equally as American citizens.

The reason they believe that is because they are unable to think on their own. Most Liberals have never had an original thought, that's why so many are Democrats. They get most of their political guidance from Moveon.org, which is run by a rich Greek Foreign or. They listen to Barbra Streisand, Whoopi Goldburg, Ted Danson, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Sean Penn, some of the richest people around.they never question these people about their wealth, some which has been gotten on the sweat of the common man. I am a Conservative, not rich by any means, BUT, I think for myself, I don't wait for direction from "Liberal Central" as too what I am suppose to say or think.

You have only to look at Conservative Republican policy. Every single initiative they undertake or law they pass benefits corporations and the wealthy - the more money you make the better off you are under a Republican administration, especially this one. Is it right that Warren Buffett pays a lower percentage of his income in taxes than his secretary? Even he thinks it's wrong.
So the question is not why do Dems (liberals) think all Republicans are rich, the important question is why would anyone who ISN'T rich vote Republican?

American liberals, who are now the Democrat voting base, believe whatever they are told by the movers and shakers of the ideology. Those movers and shakers include the great majority of the Mainstream News Media, headed by The New York Times and The Washington Post.
The caricature of Republicans/Cons as all being rich is one prong of the liberal attack apparatus. It's called class envy/warfare, and it's intended to stoke hatred against anyone the liberals identify as rich, even if it isn't true.
Liberals also call Republicans/cons Christian radicals, KKK believers, and just plain rednecks. This is a direct contradiction to the "all Republicans are rich" theme, but liberals don't care. They don't have to care - they control the media and are never going to point out their own inconsistencies, or flat out lies.

No 2 words in English advise precisely the comparable ingredient, because of fact of different aspects and institutions. "Profound", which applies to theory is an unusual word to affiliate with the two wealthy and rich - yet for my money, you would be able to be "wealthy"in adventure, understanding, and suchlike, so one ought to be profoundly wealthy in such issues; yet possible in trouble-free terms be rich in money or aspects, neither of which would be measured in "profundity" no count if one is extremely rich, quite, or obscenely rich, or something. no longer that wealth isn't quite functional in enriching one's adventure (the actual substance of existence?) - if one has the understanding to apply it in that way. yet some could be wealthy ingesting little or no; the rich are generally measured via what they consume. this is an impoverished worldwide, in extra strategies than one.

well, your generalizing libs too. but anyway, the reason why some ppl think that way is that when a person becomes wealthy, they most likely want to keep their hard-earned money and feel that they shouldnt give their money towards welfare, food stamps, etc. They think if they work for money, others should work for it too. but thats some people. im a liberal and will always be, because even if i get rich in the future with my career, i wont forget my roots and the people in my country who need help, so i will be a wealthy liberal.

You forgot to write its vice-versa!
Why do so (or even most)Republicans/Cons think that all liberals/Dems are rich or wealthy.?
I may not be financially well off but I do not envy the rich.
It is too easy to generalize.
Political beliefs should not be a criteria unless you enjoy antagonizing people. ...
Whoever earns it deserves the wealth.

Because they think that the poor can't have a different view from theirs. Personally, I'm not wealthy, and I am a Republican. I feel that it is more viable to change the Republican mind on social issues than it is to change the democrat mind on abortion, gay marriage, and other moral issues.
