I just read "the day after roswell" and from what colonel corso said in there it seems likely they all could have been results from an alien attack.

Well, I do believe that we aren't the only life out there. After all, who's to say that on some other planet in some other galaxy, there aren't weird things walking around that breathe carbon monoxide and drink acid to survive? We just don't know for sure, we base everything about the universe and life on what WE know to be true on THIS planet. Anyways, to answer your question....is it possible? Yes, anything is possible. But probable? I think it's very highly unlikely. I think there's more of a chance of getting struck by lightning or (in Steve Irwin's case) struck in the heart by a stingray than the Challenger, Columbia, and Apollo 13 have been attacked by aliens.

Well sure because the aliens are total morons aren´t they? They fly the intergalactic void. They dodge black holes, supernovae and giant dustclouds in their super advanced indestructable spaceship. And then they crash in Roswell New Mexico... The aliens, being total *******, would have to be pretty miffed with us puny humans being able to launch primitive spacecraft with such ease. They would have to do some vandalism, wouldn´t hey?
Or maybe those were just very tragic accidents and those killed, and those that fought for the survival of the crew of Apollo 13, deserve a little more respect than that.

Then.... why wouldn't they attack ALL of the shuttles & Apollo missions...?

Seems pretty silly to just pick on two or three. And why didn't they affect Gemini? Or Mercury? Just doing target practice? I don't think so...

There is probably a better chance that a giant turd was slang from the heavens and struck the spacecrafts. How gullable are you anyway?
