Wow, you sound JUST like me, except I'm a few years older. Here's the dealio, Tennis is an expensive sport. It requires a racquet, membership to a club, and a lot of patience. You are just picking up the racquet, which is a brave thing to do. I randomly joined the tennis team at my high school and it was a lot of fun. The cons- many tennis people are stuck up. The pros- Tennis guys are HOT! And many are international too. Another pro- it is a game of endurance and it isn't to see how hard you can hit the ball. It is about control. I originally took it because it was a no contact sport and I am too, a weakling. I really enjoy it, but it takes a lifetime to be good at it. You must have a lot of patience.

They make a really good Bat swatter.when you swing a board at a bat it can sense it with its radar but a tennis racket works like camoflage to a bat it cant sense it.I used to live in a house that the attic had bats when Id have to go up there Id allways put on heavy clothing with a helmet and mask and use the tennis racket to defend myself with.

When I was a kid, I used my mom's tennis racket to play air guitar... and I was awesome! LOL

ha yesterday i babysat two kids and instead of using tennis rackets for tennis they used them to whack rocks and dirt balls. it was fun..

Here in Australia, people go out at night and play cane toad tennis and cane toad golf.
I think it's cruel though.
