If they don't they should. I am opposed to the death penalty as I think Jesus clearly taught against it. It is not worth the punishment if one innocent is put to death.

So these people were convicted as part of a right wing conspiracy??
That is a bit of a stretch, don't you think.
I am against the death penalty, BTW. I am completely pro life.
I know that there are more 3rd trimester babies MURDERED because their mothers thought them to be an inconvenience than innocent death row inmates.
One is life is not more valuable than another!!

The Christian right only cares about embryos and denying gay people rights. I haven't seen anyone of them offer to do something about child prostitution in Thailand or help the victims of the Peruvian earthquake. It seems they only care about embryos but not live children. This is why I don't respect them, their priorities are skewed just like their minds are. There is nothing Christian about them.

I would hope that all people would care about those wrongly accused. And to kill an innocent person is murder, in my opinion.

They were given a trail and found guilty. The bible says an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. We allow the officials to do this and not we ourselves.
