I am at an appalingly horrible unfair advantage due to the laziness in the government. Say we were more like Southern Korea. Whyyyyy not!!! Duh we'd be sad we can't freakin play video games and get on the computer and not do anything with our lifes. But we are not forced. We have too much freedom. Freedom isn't free, but it is in excess. So why are we still fighting. Why is anyone in America lazy. Where did that behaviour originate. Why is it given the light of day to exist! At least in the hands of a decent dicatator, there would always be the forced activity to keep people's hands busy. I know I have the choice to make myself better. But I don't have the taught discipline to go through with it. That is a truth that other well-taught people can't even fathom. You are not in my place! You don't know what it is like! Please don't tell me that it is easy, it is not! I am sad that other people like this have to suffer. Not everyone can just stay busy. Maybe I am lazy but it isn't my fault

Throughout history, there have been those who push themselves and those who wait around to be pushed.

Perhaps it is not your fault that you are lazy, but it is your problem.

You may benefit from enlisting for 4 years. All you need is to establish the habits.

Incidentally, you can be lazy under a dictator. You seem to be asking that somebody make laziness a life or death decision for you. That is not a good idea.

Take a train through the outskirts of Las Vegas sometime. You will see plenty of people living in boxes because they didn't run their own lives.

You don't need to change the world around you. You just need to wake up to the fact that miserable failure happens gradually. Every day you spend on your behind is a step toward the outskirts of Las Vegas (figuratively).

Because you seem to be lazy, and without direction, I'm going to give you concrete steps to follow toward your own assumed happiness.
1) Apply for a Visa to Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, or anyplace with a dictator that will give you the experience you desire.
2) Move there. You only need the clothes on your back. If you have to put all the expenses on a credit card, don't worry, you aren't coming back here anyway.

Lack of motivation comes from fear, not lack of opportunity.

With all the educational opportunity, internet availability, and thousands of ways to start your own business, you can only blame yourself, not society for not going for it. It's there for the taking if you quit blaming.
