There is the Great Charlie Pride and Ray Charles did many contry tunes also. I knw everyones says Cowboy Troy but I find that debatable. Rissi Palmer is a young female fairly new to the scene, I don't even think she has an album out yet.
Okay, I just went through and watched your videos. Very cute. Now, when I watched the first one, I thought you were taking really deep breaths to get the sound you were looking for but after watching the next few, I realized that wasn't the case. In all honesty, you have a good voice. The last few you did a really good job in the timing and delivery. You need to branch out and find your own style but you reallly did a great job on those covers. I think there may have been a few lines in "almost home" that were not really clearly audible and I was wondering if you had them right but I think you did a great job; I really do and just wanted to say that I give you a lot of credit for having the confidence to do that and put it up there. Thanks for sharing that.

Not that much into country but my sister in law loves ...Charlie Pride. He is more old school ...but there is a more modern person that hosted a show with Wynona (sp?) Judd...Cowboy Troy, I think
