Is there some sort of cord? I can't use a flash drive because it's over 2gigs and thats the biggest drive I have, and I cant use email because of the size. I'm pretty good with computer terms, so no need to dumb down your answer.

I recommend two options: Use a router and add both computers to the same group and share files. The router may be wireless or not, doesn't matter as long as you have enough wires.
Use a crossed-over wire, you can plug a computer opposite to the other and share files directly without any router.

Do you have a network at home (like a router for internet), why not create a share and copy all the files over the local network.

you should create a computer network that would connect both coputers. try to search more about computer networking.
you would usually need a router and some cables and some jacks.
