Ok, now I know everything usually says "If you feel discomfort you didn't push it in enough" well i don't feel any discomfort but I still feel it in general...that's normal right?

It may be ok for you. We are not all shaped exactly the same.

I normally feel them in the sense that I know that there is something inside me but not painful or uncomfortable it's just...there. Especially when I'm sitting.

But first just to be sure you want to make sure that it really is in far enough. And you may want to see if you are using the right size for you. Maybe if you switch to a smaller tampon than you won't feel it? Also the shape of different brands of tampon...maybe you can feel a Tampax but wouldn't feel an OB.

It isn't a problem if you are just aware of a tampon but if it hurts or uncomfortable than that is Not Normal. That probably does mean that the tampon is not far enough inside you or that it is the wrong size or that you are too dry.

If you find that you can't feel a smaller tampon than that was it. You just have to change it more often and you will want to double up with a pantiliner at least on the first day or 2. You may want to consider using cloth pantiliners which are more healthy for you and less likely to cause accidents.

Good luck and please feel free to email me if you have further questions :)

well when they tell you you didnt push it in far enough- they're right.
I would suggest you kind of squat, spread your legs apart and squat, then insert the tampon package in as far as you can and THEN push it up in there. don't only put it on the outside and then push, because it will then be too far down and won't do the job. I suggest when you have a day at home, or you're not running around- try to put it in for a couple hours. just sit, relax and just get a feel for it. If it gets unbearable, take it out, use a pad, and take a break for a little while and then try it again. don't give up, though :) I almost did, I would go nuts! Good luck!

You shouldn't feel it AT ALL. It isn't is far enough. Take it out and try again. When a tampon is inserted correctly, you shouldn't even be able to tell it is in there. If you feel it (whether it hurts or not), it isn't in correctly.

Nope , you shouldn't feel anything at ALL. when i first started using tampons i could feel it and it HURTED like hell. I think you should push it in a little deeper.
