I have been on Orthotricycline Low (sp?) for almost 2 years. I've been impressed with it's results....until the past few months. For a few months my period would be really late (almost 4 or 5 days late) and my period would be really heavy...almost unbearable. NOW it's a couple weeks early...like almost 2 weeks early...and it'll be really light and then really heavy the last couple days.
My question is, should I be concerned? I mean...I'm not really sure what I need to do. I'm calling my doctor tomorrow to see if I should get off it.

Any thoughts?

You gave yourself the best advise available. "I'm calling my doctor tomorrow to see if I should get off it." Call and be safe.

Are you taking the pills right? Because if you are, you should only bleed during the 'green week.' But if it is coming at strange times, it might be too weak of a dosage for you. I used to have to be on really strong ones, and now my doc prefers Nuvaring because it absorbs consistently, not like a once a day pill where the hormones will spike when you take it. And actually I think bleeding is nasty so he gives me enough to use constantly, so there is no bleeding. It's awesome.

YOU may just need to get off the low dose now and try a higher dose to achieve the same results.
