Depends how BADLY corrupted . . .

if windows loads but SOME files corrupt, then a clean over the top reinstall will help.

If windows can't load, you need a total reinstall, do so on a new hard drive, and try to recover data later (you DO have backups don't you ?)

Not sure what to do, take it to a shop, ask for help.

You dont provide much detail. Assuming you are using Windows XP or Vista and can get to your desktop - do the following:
1: Go into 'My Computer'
2: Right-click your hard drive (usually c) and then click properties
3: Select Tools and Then 'Check Disc for errors'
4: You will see two boxes, check them both
5: After hitting OK you should get an error saying that it couldnt be performed and ask you if you would like to 'shedule' - select shedule.
6: Restart your computer, as your computer restarts it will go to a checkdisk screen. Depending on your drive this might take upto an hour, so be patient.

Once the above process is completed, your computer will automatically restart and boot into windows.

I am sure the answer people will put here is to Format, DONT DO THIS.
Not only will you loose ALL of your files, you will also loose your system drivers and these can be a nightmare to install so do this instead:

Once your computer has rebooted click start and in the run box type: /sfc scannow
This will do a safe file check and make sure windows is installed correctly, if it needs to repair any files it will ask you for your Windows CD.

Format it. If you're using Windows (as I assume you are, anyone using Linux would be tech-savvy enough to figure this out), just put in the original Windows disk, boot up your PC, and the instructions should be clear enough.

-Warning: you'll lose all of your data, and there probably isn't anything to do about it-
