I was backing up out of a parking space and this guy walks on the side of my car holding his leg and hopping like I hit him but I didnt. Can this guy do anything like get me in trouble saying I hit him? This is crazy!

well he was walking not in a car so there are no marks on my car and he wasnt even behind me when I backed up. Can I get arrested for something like that if he lies good enough?

Yeah, trouble could be coming. The reality is, there are a lot of lawyers that specialize in this area. I would say go get a free consultation from a lawyer. It will only take a half an hour or so, and you will know what you need to do right away.

There is a good chance that he does this for a living. He may have a "witness", otherwise known as the second person on the team. Notify your insurance agent to be aware of a potential scam. If there is a claim, have them investigate the doctor (also in on the deal), especially if that doctor has been the technical support for other claims. The scam artists often know how much they can request that the insurance company will pay out without even asking.

Hopefully you have not washed your car lately.

Take pictures of where he hit the side of your car and the area where he claimed you hit him.

The clean spot does not lie.

Edit - Don't look for marks, look for the spot where the dust was brushed off of your car where his pants or hands hit.

This happened to me, and luckily I had not washed the car for a week before it happened and that was the evidence that got that scammer busted.

yes he could if he lies in the right way try takin pics and take qwuestions with him and rite them down and make him sign them in case of court action

He's got to show some sort of injury and prove that it was your fault.

He's trying for an insurance scam.inform your insurance company and let them deal with it.
