Do you believe that any of the current crop of candidates running for president are any different then their predecessors?
What are the odds that any of them will do anything about the corruption, partisanship, lobbyists, etc.. that have taken over Washington?
Do you believe that any of them have the welfare of the average American at heart, or is it just another power play?

No. Every politican has stinky poop. None any better than any other...the only difference is what special interest group will they cater to, and at who pays the bill.

The current culture is that if you have the juice to get elected to political office as a state rep, governor, US Senator or Representative, or President...you are set for life with a license to steal and the ability to bury the evidence in red tape.

It is common knowledge that US Senators, Reps, and the President don't knock down rediculous salaries. Yet somehow, they all leave D.C. as millionaires.

Some of them get caught, but most don't. Even after office, many are sought after and paid rediculously because of their influence in DC. Very few politicians refuse to feed at the trough, and those that don't aren't electable because they can't generate the money to run a good campaign without special interests cash.

The only one that seems like he is on the up and up is Ron Paul.

That being said, he does not stand a chance due to the smear campaign that has already been waged by the standard issue corrupt candidates.

When you are getting smeared by both the left and right, you are either a total whack job or right on the money.

I do not believe there is any difference than the candidates that have run for the last 30 years.

The cynic in me says no, there is no big difference. I think it's always funny, no matter who preceded them (even if they served in the same cabinet), that all candidates call for some type of change.

No, no, and no. All this partisan business is nonsense. Voting is always choosing the lesser of the 2 evils, and I don't think that I would EVER vote for ANYONE whose experience is in the legislative branch. There is too much corruption and too many payoffs for Congressmen(and women).

its hard to believe in any politicians any more, they all seem to be corrupted in some way, sad to say that it seems the only way to find out if they will stick with their word or not is trial and error, we will see huh?

they different from their predecessors and from each other.

this lazy thinking is just a way for people to feel better about the fact that they dont vote. but we all feel pretty good about the fact that these people dont vote anyway.

Nope I don't believe in any of them because all polititicans say one thing and do another after they are in office.

No, they are all currently in an elected office (politicans) so there is no freshness.

What we need is a fresh face who is a lawyer or businessman.
