Mickey Mouse Club, including Annette Funicello and a few other people who became famous as a result. Black-and-white television. Pink and charcoal gray, even on boys. American Bandstand.

sock hops, hula hoops, soda in bottles, cigarettes rolled up in the t shirt sleeve, comb in the back pocket(for guys) hot rods, slicked back hair,pony tails and scarves tied around a girl neck, saddle shoes and bobby socks. bangs, poodle skirts and cashmere sweaters, letter cardigans, letter jackets, black and white checked floors....records not cds or tapes. bright red lip stick!!!! have fun!
