Yes that is rude but um I don't really cook so I would not have made a meal for you but burping after takeout or after you cook is acceptable as long as you say excuse me.

I think in some countries it is appropriate and a complement to the chef to burp out loud.

good food doesnt make you burp. gas in your gut makes you burp. so i would take offense because it means my food is gassy.
