Please DO NOT use any of these proxies that people are offering up. Everything you send across them is captured and all these programs can be configured to send your websites, usernames and passwords to the crooks that put them up. (I mean most login forms use username and password variable names so its not hard to skim it.)
You might think you are clever and know how to switch your proxy setting on your browser back and fourth but the second you forget and check your bank balance or web based mail program, they have you...they own you and they can go read your web based email at that point and start finding out where you have accounts...reset your passwords to what they want them to be and...well, I hope you can imagine. Do you know how much it would take to straiten that out? It would actually be better if you were in high school. You wouldn't have accounts to any important web sites and it would explain your poor grammar.
Is updating your MySpace page worth risking identity theft?

Since myspace is not using https (which is advanced security) -dont know about myspace- any proxy that u will use CAN potentially store/steal ur password. I dont know if there is a proxy that is a good one and doesnt do it , but u cannot trust NO proxy, expect if u setup one at ur home and access it from home. Probably u can;t do this cause its for more advance users. So if u dont hv sb to setup a server for u or any other remote server at home u can use online proxies but none is 100% safe !!!
That is the truth. Furthermore if u setup a server at home and u are not an expert u put ur pc in danger.
All ppl are using proxies are IGNORANT to believe that they dont store their passwords. Maybe some are not doing it but u cant trust anyboby.
P.S. I am very experienced at this field so believe me its nothing u can do. if u r dying for a real and safe mail me or post here an ask (or better google it) about remote access.
I mean to access ur pc from school -easier than to set up a proxy server.

If you've tried other proxies, I can guarantee you its not the individual proxies they're blocking. They're blocking all proxies. If the IP address doesn't come from within their system, they're not going to let it through.
You'll have to wait until "the next big thing" happens, which will probably happen soon.
Also, in case you get smart, breaking the security on a local computer is pointless. That computer is pulling off another computer, which is probably pulling off another. It ends at a server, which makes the rules and its clients have to follow. If it changes the rules, clients follow. It's not like real life where, say the parent-child relationship, a child can break the rules. And if you do eventually break through all those barriers without going to the source, you're pretty stupid in the first place anyway because there's usually backup servers and logging software that logs you. And all it takes is for someone to ask the librarian who was on that computer, and even if they do not know you, their possibilities of finding out are very limited in scope to how many students they have. Still, there are ways around this, but I'm not going to tell you as the punishments of getting caught have gone from losing your school's computer priviledges to going to prison.

Circumventing Internet access control systems with web proxies to access unauthorized web sites is a violation of school computer usage policy. You will get suspended and/or banned from using school computers when you get caught. Use school computers for school work, and myspace can wait until you get home. Do you really want your teachers and school administrators knowing what you are posting on myspace anyways?

You can setup your own proxy server on your home computer -- be sure to set a password so only you can use it.

i can recommend you to download the program called VIP Privacy, you can find it here: http://www.vipdefense.com/download/site/VIPAnonymity.exe
i use it for a few months and i can say it's good enough and easy to use. And, by the way, it saves you a lot of time because you wouldn't need to look for a working proxy by yourself.
Good Luck!!!
