because of the warm waters of the gulf and the cooler waters of the atlantic come together forming a nasty thing called a hurricane . I live in florida we shake everytime one comes calling . LOL!!!!!

Warm water makes hurricane clouds August to October is Carribens hurricane season. Their is a Cyclone season in australia April to july.

The main reason is that is the time when the tropical waters of the north Atlantic (and north Pacific) are typically at their warmest. The Sun has been heating the waters all summer long. For a hurricane to grow and maintain itself, it needs water temperatures to be close to 80 degrees, otherwise there is just not enough heat energy for it.
