Why have you had to bring it in? Is it hurt? Take it to a vet. Just turn up and leave it with them.

it shouldnt be out during the day so it needs protecting. hedgehog hospital told me if its out in daytime something is wrong. dont give it bread and milk. its the worst thing to give it, cat food is best and water too . dont panic. it will be ok . leave a message on the answerphone and keep hedgy in its box till you get called back. i hope hes ok.

Due to ever-increasing costs I can only collect orphaned hedgehogs within a 7-mile radius of Bordon, Hampshire, if you live outside this area, then please drop them off to me. All injured hedgehogs should be taken to your nearest vet, as soon as possible, as due to the high cost of medical treatments I am unable to take them on until they have been treated.

If you bring in an orphaned or injured hedgehog, please telephone before coming to ensure that someone is in to take the hedgehog.

If a hedgehog is seriously injured please take them direct to the nearest vet as soon as possible, or to a wildlife centre that has the facilities to deal with any medical emergency.

For 24hr call outs please contact your local RSPCA or wildlife rescue organisation that deals with 24hr call outs.
