Don't put these 2 fish together, the only ones you can put with them are white cloud mountain minnows

Hope that helps
Good luck

Blood Tetra

do not put these two fish together....the gold fish might eat him and any other small fish. ( i know this from experience ). though the goldfish wont be able to eat the bloodfin tetra for about a year and then the goldie will be big enough to start sucking on it and trying to eat it...that's what mine does. goldfish will eat just about anything...flake food, sinking pellets, zucchini, blood worms, shrimp, other fish...anything they can get into their mouth. goldfish get to be about a foot long (takes a couple of years though...mine grew 3-4 inches in almost a year) where as bloodfin tetras stay only a couple of inches at the most. so you can see that a goldfish will eventually be able to suck those small fish up as though they were nothing. so if you haven't guessed yet, i would highly advise you NOT to place these two fish in the same tank.

No, you can't put them in the same tank! Bloodfins are tropical and goldfish are cold water. There is no happy medium on temp. If you keep one in the wrong temp, it stresses them and causes their immune system to be compromised which will result in their early death from some opportunistic parasite or disease.

If you try to keep them in water that is in-between in temp, it will stress them both. Do the right thing, get another tank.

Food is not as essential, you could feed them both the same flake food. Although tropical flakes are better for tropicals and goldfish flakes are better for goldfish.

yes you can give them the same food, and put them in the same tank, provided the water is warm enough and there is enough space.
