Mel Kiper has it as Brohm and I don't think it's likely to change. No single position can mean more to a floundering NFL team than QB and Brohm is big, has a cannon arm, leads the nation in accuracy, and is a head strong, intellegent player with tremendous leadership potential. Barring injury and assuming the first team picking is a little weak at QB, it's Brohm hands down. Another QB won't be taken in the top 5.

I would take Darren McFadden, unless of course I was the Chargers, but theres no way that team has even a top 25 pick. This kid IS the next LaDainian Tomlinson.
I would say Slaton is almost as good as McFadden, he just gets no attention, and as far as Left Tackles, Jake Long isnt even the best out there. USCs Sam Baker is the best Lineman on the board, Jake Long is #2. DeSean Jackson and Mario Manningham are easily the best Wideouts in the class, but its a big gap, similar to the one between Calvin Johnson and Ted Ginn Jr. last year, both are great, but Calvin Johnson is in a league of his own. Manningham and Jackson are great, but DeSean Jackson is in a league of his own. Untouchable. Brian Brohm and Colt Brennan are the 2 best QBs in the nation, and if the Packers get the #1 overall pick, they will either take Slaton/McFadden or Brohm with #1 overall, probably a running back because they drafted a QB a few years back and he wants to play.
Heres my top 5, talent wise, because I dont know who has the #1 pick:
1. Darren McFadden
2. DeSean Jackson
3. Sam Baker
4. Steve Slaton
5. Brian Brohm
But, say a team needs defense, then we have a whole different story. Penn States Dan Connor, LSUs Glenn Dorsey, and Miamis Kenny Smith all are the best at thier positions. Ohio State Malcolm Jenkins and James Laurainits are also great, but may not come out this year.

With the 1st pick of the 2008 Draft the Raiders will select Brian Brohm because they still wont have a quarterback in Daunte Culpepper and they can't sign Jamarcus Russell

It depends on who has first draft pick. Look it this year's draft class Calvin Johnson was the best overall pick, but Oakland needed a quarterback so they picked Jamarcus Russell. So, to answer your question it is hard to say. My best bet would Darren Mcfadden or Brian Brohm.

McFadden will be the first pick, running backs are more important than WR, I love DeSean Jackosn and he'll go in the top 3 but I think and QB will go ahead of him. But yesMcFadden will win College Player of the Year and be picked #1 overall

thinking the Patriots loss of elite protective backs, i think of that they could desire to commerce the %. to the Falcons for Deangelo hall. Works out completely for the two communities. Patriots get yet another celebrity. simply by fact the Falcons are in turmoil, they could desire to start a clean era,and start up over clean, by skill of drafting a clean massive call rookie, like Darren Mcfadden. upload drafting a QB like Pat White or Andre Woodson, and you acquire a intense high quality destiny.

It all depends on which team has first pick. I would guess it will be either the Packers or the Falcons. Brett Favre is getting old and we all know about the Michael Vick ordeal, so both teams will be in need of a quarterback. As painful as it will be to hear, The best quarterback I see this draft class producing is John David Booty, so I'm guessing he'll get first pick.
