99.9% of the people reading this weren't even born when CS had his hits. I liked him and mourn the fact that he squandered a tremendous talent...so much potential. He didn't make it to legendary heights. More of a cult classic.

I don't think that he'll ever be revered in the same circles as The Beatles and Led Zepplin, but he was an incredibly gifted singer/songwriter. I've been a fan of his music since I was a little girl playing LP's on her dad's turntable.

Only in his mind. I would say it takes more than 1 or 2 hit pop singles to be called a legend.

No, he is not considered a Legend because he turned his back on music when he changed his faith.
He was, however, an incredibly influential singer/songwriter.

no, hes a cat, silly? he only had about 2 or 3 songs worth listening to. legend, no, traiter to his country ,yes. not trying to be rude but its my opinion and that is free of charge.
