A kitten is way easier to take care of than a puppy.
Puppies need to be around other living creatures because they are pack animals.
They need to be trained and nurtured from the time you bring them home until around 1 1/2 years old.
A kitten can pretty much be on its own from the start. Just show where the food and the litter box are.

It depends if she wants something to cuddle a lot and play with. She should choose a dog if she wants that.

Cats are playful too but they like being independent. Kittens are cute - they're the most playful then, but they can get in a lot of trouble tearing up your house. But I still recommend them. If she wants an animal around that doesn't need to be constantly petted, then I would say get her that.

I like cats for a starter pet because you don't have to worry about taking them outside to pee all the time. As long as they have food, water, and clean kitty litter they are pretty self-reliant. However, some people don't get along with cats, so no matter what you go for, you're taking a chance. Try a guinea pig or hamster maybe.

Cats end up being easier to take care because you don't have to take them out, they go in a litter box. Dogs are always more work, however they are a lot more fun and much more lovable. Always go with the dog! Also, smaller dogs are far less work, if you catch my drift.

In my opinion cats are far better than dogs in an apartment setting. If there is a house involved it's a coin flip. It all depends on how much independence you want the animal to have in relation to food, waste, and general attention.

Most def a kitten. A cat will use a litter box and can clean itself. A puppy will cry at night. & has to have a LOT more attentino.

A CAT, a dog is going to be in the bed, humping your leg, needing let out, chewing up stuff, can't be left home by itself as easy, poo's/pee's everywhere, For your sanity, Get Cat!!!

a cat would be easier to take care of in the long run because you don't have to take it outside to use the restroom or bathe it a lot. however, i would want a dog because they're much more fun

Kittens are much easier to take care of. And they're cuter, in my opinion.

Get a kitten. I think they are cuter. They are also more independent then dogs. They are the furriest cutest things on earth.
