is there any differance between the Harry Potter adult and children books other than the cover?

someone on a different site posted a comment that said the adult version of the last book (in usa) contains some sort of sex scene between Harry and Cho Chung that is not in the child version

No, I have both types of books and they are, from talking to others with the corresponding adult/childrens version, identical, the only noticeable difference between them is the cover art. The adult version has a slightly less colourful, more symbolic cover, related to something in the book. The difference in pages is due mainly to print size, us old people have poorer eyesight (well, maybe not.....). The language appears to me to be the same so if there are changes they are very slight and would probably require a line by line comparison. When JK Rowlings started the series it was stated that she was not "writing down" to children so any significant changes are unlikely. They only change I have heard about is the change from "Philosopher's Stone" in the British and Canadian versions to "Sorcerer's Stone" in the American. But that, of course, was in all versions published in the U.S. I will have to reread them again (as if I need a reason), and find out.

As for your additional information, no, there are no "sex scenes", someone is either jerking people's strings or really needs to get a life.

the difference is the binding, the picture on the front cover is different.
The deluxe version has gold and full page pictures at the beginning of each chapter along with a front cover picture and color change.
There is no sex scene, just wishful thinking on the part of the more "twisted" fans....

no, I'm pretty sure that the cover is the only difference, because adults just want to look like they're reading something other than a kids book.

No. Just the cover and the lack of art at the start of chapters. Otherwise, the content is identical.
