you can leave it in up to 8 hours. If your flow is heavy, you might want to change it after 3 or 4 hours though.

you should change your tampon at least every 4 hours. it depends on the size of the tampon and how heavy your menstrual flow is. NEVER leave the tampon in for 8 hours while your active. you could possibly get TSS. People can wear tampons like this while there sleeping because the body is at rest and the circulation is not at peak. When you are active the circulation is more fluent and the blood is going to flow more heavily. if you leave the tampon in it could cause infection. Anyway with that being said. You just need a regular size tampon and you can wear it while you are swimming and should be safe. Make a trip to the bathroom just to check and be sure. Carry one extra with you just in case. You'll be fine, just relax.

If you're on a heavy day, change it every 2 hours, and wear a pantyliner in your bottoms. If you're near the end, you don't have to worry about it, unless you go to the restroom and you're leaking. Then change it, and wear a pantyliner just to be safe. You can cut it if your bathing suit bottom is too small. Oh, if you're on a heavy day, wear a super tampon if you can. Just wear the largest size you can. You can always take a peak at your pantyliner. Have fun!!

Depends on the flow. if it's your first day you might have to change it after 3 hours if not than 6 should do it - I don't advise longer since this is your first time using tampons

Put a fresh one in before swimming and then change when you're done swimming. The tampon will absorb the water and risk leakage if you don't change after swimming.

You should change it atleast once, but while swimming and on your period, you should keep a tampon in the whole time.

Just to be sure, you should change it every 2 hours and the first time you change it if there isn't much blood, then you can wait 3 hours. If it's really full of blood, change it every hour.
