I was at a family reunion this weekend and I recieved alot of advice (wanted and unwanted) on how to concieve #3. I have researched alot on fertility and conception but there seems to be some conflicting information on Bd-ing every day or every other day. I know hubby has a good sperm count so that is not a concern. My aunt said every other day because it takes that amount of time to properly build the man's "resources" back up. I was curious to hear other women's opinions on this, especially what worked for you.

It's true. Most fertility experts say every other day to help sperm quality. But there is still a debate:
Pros: sex every day & sperm may have more motility (because they are 'newer')
Cons: sex every day & sperm count may not be as high

it only takes one day...my husband and I have sex once or twice a week (he takes meds for his blood pressure) so doing the bd every day was out of the question. I ovulated on the 23rd of july and we did the bd that day...wouldn't you know I am 6 weeks pregnant? So speaking from personal experience it only takes one bd and you're good to go...I might add we also tried for 6 mths before we conceived

for me it did not make a difference i was having a very active sex life with my partner when i conceived my daughter more than once a day sometimes we weren't really trying it just happened
and with my current pregnancy baby no.4 i would say we were no where near as active as we used to be well i do have 3 kids I'm worn out lol and still i conceived the first month of trying i am very fertile though
my personal opinion is that it really makes no difference when you have sex or how much as long as you get the time your ovulating

I say every day. My husband and I did the BD every day sometimes twice a day and I got pregnant right away. I would just do what you did with your first two!

We did it 3 times in 4 days. The difference was the sex was totally for fun. We had tried for almost 2 years, in March I said I quit trying, in May I got pregnant. I wouldn't worry about how often, just enjoy the practice! Good Luck!
