do you not already know the sex of your baby?

i'm also 23 weeks, and some days i seem like i'm about to pop and some days i look like i'm barely pregnant. the baby is just moving about and some days could be higher up in your uterus and some days lower down near your pelvis.

also, if you've had a lot of sodium you could be retaining water, causing you to bloat. i know that was my issue the past two days (i had chinese food at a friends wedding reception and the retention made me look like i was about 50 weeks pregnant haha). you could just be having a big baby... it doesn't mean anything is wrong necessarily. as long as your tests come back normal and your ultrasounds show nothing wrong, then you and the baby should be fine.

weight gain is also a factor.. if you've gained a lot of weight so far, that might just be where you've gained it. i've gained about 15-18 pounds so far. but the only place i've gained any weight is in my stomach.

I am 29 weeks along with me second child. With my first one i didn't get very big and when i did get a stomach it was at the last month of my pregnancy and that was a gurl. I am now carrying a boy and i look bigger at 27 weeks with him than i did with her at full term I think it has to do with sex and pregnancy number. I also carried my gurl high and I am carrying my boy low.. Let us know ok

Yeah, I wouldn't bet it's because you are carrying a girl. How you carry a baby depends on your build, abdominal muscle tone, etc. There isn't a problem, it's just how your body is carrying it in this pregnancy! Good Luck! Hope you do you get your little girl anyway, but a healthy baby is even better!

medical doctors choose to assert issues. they think of they are comforting or hilerious/humorous. They issues they say have a tendency to go away you with a sparkling lost expression. Their minds are not working comparable to yours,.. so of direction you don't get it. that's priceless to to request an Ultrasound and question if the Due Date would desire to be different then what the scientific expert is asserting. some medical doctors in this field or attempting to be sure those issues basically suck and are completely incorrect,.. so in case you have a different date you think of you obtain pregnant... use online calculators to decide once you will truly be transport to prepare. i replaced into this variety of toddler. My momknew the date i replaced into conceived however the scientific expert insisted on a undeniable due date. i replaced into born precisely on the day for if i replaced into conceived on the day she (my mom) theory i replaced into. So some medical doctors are basically incorrect.

it's probably just ur amniotic fluid. Or are u having multiples? Sometimes later in pregnancy, bloating can occur again too so it could be the reason why. I wouldn't worry about it. Be proud of that pregnant belly. take a lot of pix too.

i am 20 weeks pregnant and i too look rather big, and i feel huge and really heavy. but its not so big on some days. sometimes i wonder if its the fluid retention or gastiric issue.

express you concern to your doc, he/she may suggest something. you dont have to suffer in case its a fluid rentention or gas.

congratulations on the baby ! :)

I know how you feel. I am 27 weeks along with twins. Trust me, it could be worse. Congradulations by the way. But don't worry, every pregnancy is different. Some are bigger than others. This is my 2nd time with twins but this time Im am so much bigger, but Im not sure why, its just different babies, different pregnancy. So don't worry too much.

my stomach has been big since 12 weeks. Some babies just stick out more...there isn't really a "standard" for how you should look... each pregnancy is unique.
