I was at a family reunion this weekend and I recieved alot of advice (wanted and unwanted) on how to concieve #3. I have researched alot on fertility and conception but there seems to be some conflicting information on Bd-ing every day or every other day. I know hubby has a good sperm count so that is not a concern. My aunt said every other day because it takes that amount of time to properly build the man's "resources" back up. I was curious to hear other women's opinions on this, especially what worked for you.

That advice in my opinion is sound - that's what helped me conceive #2 and #3. With each, I tried the ovulation monitors, timing it, temperature, etc. - nothing. Then after 3 months with #2 and 5 months with #3, I had sex every other day for my cycle - and got pregnant.

I think it not only hits your 48-72 hour fertile time, but it does give the guy a chance to build back up a really good supply. All I can say is that's the only 'method' that worked for me. Good luck! :)

Try to conceive 10 to 14 days after your period have sex every 2- 3 days to help sperm count go up and start taking prenatal pills to help with the process. Make sure you hubby wears lose undies and keep them cool.

With baby #1 we split the difference; starting 5 days before ovulation we did it every 36 hours :-)

We conceived baby #1 the day of ovulation (about 12 hours before ovulation).

I asked a doctor this question and he said that if sperm count is a problem, every other day is better. If sperm count is not a problem (which it isn't in your case) then every day is fine. Good luck with #3!

I've also heard once every other day. Make sure your husband isn't using a laptop - the heat kills sperm.
