Describe the events in U.S history led to the adoption of freedom of speech i need 5 answwers just try your best plzz please answer

The anti-federalist movement. Anti-federalists did not like the idea of a strong government controlling the people. Free speech and the Bill of Rights were designed to keep the government in check.

The failure of the Articles of Confederation. The Articles of Confederation was our first attempt at a constitution. It failed because it wasn't well thought out. It was more of a quick fix than a true "rule's of government" document.

Read Thomas Jefferson, he was a realist.That's why he maintained that if there was one thing in the Constitution that could never be sacrificed, it was freedom of the press, so that there would always be an effective whistle-blower that could not be silenced. Is it working?

I don't believe it had anything to do with America or the Colonies. It was all about making sure that people in this new country had the freedom to speak their views without being put in prison or shipped to a penal colony, the Caribbean or the new world as indentured servants.

It was our founding Fathers who placed that into the Constitution because of past treatment by England.
