Convert to slope intercept form

3x = 2y - 7

Transpose 3x

3x - 3x = - 3x + 2y - 7

0 = - 3x + 2y - 7

Transpose 2y

0 - 2y = - 3x + 2y - 7 - 2y

- 2y = - 3x - 7

Divide both sides of the equation by - 2

- 2y / - 2 = - 3x / - 2 - 7 / - 2

y = 3/2x + 7/2. . .←. .Slope intercept form

3x=2y-7
When x = 0, y = 3.5
When x = 1, y = 5
When x = 2, y = 6.5
To graph the equation simply locate the points (0,3.5), and (1,5) and draw a line through them extending the line in both directions as much as you please.

Any point not on the line will not satisfy the equation. So the point (1,7) is not on the line because 3*1 does not =2*7-7.

3x = 2y -7
now put y=0 so 3x = -7..
x =-7/3
put y = 1 so 3x = 2 -7 = -5..
x = -5/3
put y= -1 so 3x = -2-7 = -9
x = -3
now the points on the line are (-7/3,0) (-5/3,1) and (-3,-1)
so if u need a point out of the line its (-3, 4)
or (-3,5) etc.. [y co-ordinate can be anything except -1]

here you go:

3x=2y-7
2y= -3x-7
y= -3/2x-7/2 (this is the slope intercept form)

get a few point by plugging in a few values of x
y(o) = -7/2 (0,-7/2)
y(1)= -5 (1,-5)

plug a few more values in and connect the dots
