What cleaners out there will do a remarkable job on my carpets? They're very dirty and the plan is to get them replaced, but for now I need a quick fix. What can I do that will make a noticable difference?

I have a Bissell Steam Cleaner and use the Bissell Liquid but you can use any of the steam cleaner liquids on the market. They all are about the same. If your carpets are really dirty, you may want a pro in to do the initial job and then you can maintain them with your steam cleaner.

One of the best cleaners I have found is called Folex. I work in the hotel industry and a lot of hotels use it. You can buy smaller bottles for household use at Target, Walmart and many stores like Lowe's sell larger bottles.

You should probably use the brand recommended for your machine....
I love the Bissell products... I think it smells really good and cleans really well.
Whatever you do, do not use laundry soap such as Tide.... it will eventually ruin the machine.

i just use pinesole in my steam cleaner and it does a real good job.
