Other than her slavish devotion to George W. Bush and the Republican Party, what does she bring to the show?

I like her. She brings another side of the spectrum. An intelligent one at that. I like her even more now that she didn't put up with loud mouth Rosie!
And I really like her because she knows where her political choices should lie....the intelligent side of the fence.

I think they just picked her because they wanted to feed off the reality TV trend. Elisabeth doesn't bring anything except what most of America doesn't want to hear about Bush and Iraq. In this case, why didn't they think to approach Colleen Haskiell from the Borneo season? I think Elisabeth would've been better suited as a "Barker's Beauty" on Price is Right.

She didn't choose her...the public chose her after Lisa Ling left. They had an open vote for people to replace LL. I dislike her more and mre every day when she gets up on her political soap box. She never used to have a political opinion until Rosie. She doesn't bring the younger "view" to the show like she should. I hope she is ousted next.

I don't like her, she can't handle other people's opinion and expects people to go along with all of hers or she flips out. Plus when she first joined the show she kept throwing in on every conversation that her husband was a quarterback like it had anything to do with what they were talking about.Her obsession with Bush is a little over the top.

I can like people with differing opinions- and although I dislike Elizabeth I don't hate her or anything (unlike the Rosie haters!) I dislike her on the show A LOT because she always interrupts people and gets all psycho when she doesn't agree and speaks over everyone. She can't keep her cool in a discussion so she shouldn't be on a discussion show!

Aside from her obsession with Bush, I really don't think she brings anything to the table. I liked Debbie M. She was witty and funny. Elisabeth just yammers on about her views and interrupts the others.... and outcome of the Rosie fiasco, I think she is two faced.

She's blond and cute. She's very opinionated. Personally I like Joy Behar, she's highly educated and is funny too. I don't like Barbara and I'm not sure if how Woopi will do either. ( I like her). It may be time for the View to go.

I thought she was okay when she was on survivor, however, i find she has a very narrow viewpoint and is too right wing.
She has also made some offensive comments about the morning after pill and how it shouldnt be used in cases of rape or incest, which i thought was crazy.
She tends to get on my nerves when im watching the show, but i guess the point is to have different opinions.

Family values and morals. Something the other ones don't have. Apparently Babs liked her well enough to hire her. People bash her because they don't agree with her politics. That's not fair. Joy is a big mouth and she's not bashed that often plus she's not funny.

NO.. I do not like her at all. she is way too childish, not to well read and too right wing and I don.t watch the show at all for a long time now, If I want to laugh, I will watch a cartoon!!
