For a sandwich you can buy lite bread, it's very low fat.
There are lots of sandwich meats that are 97 % fat free.
Just don't load it down with mayo, just put tomatoes on it.
I also like Some of the low calorie, low fat dinners.
Healthy Choice even has a few bites of desert.
Just read labels, You can keep your diet healthy but still enjoy.

-I find the idea of a sandwich if not quite filling is on
the other hand "fulfilling " !
Maybe it's psychology-! I am so used to Burgers and
Subways it fills me up just to think of it --
If you choose Whole Wheat Bread and don't load it
with too much butter or Mayo ---you can use lettuce
and lots of sliced Tomatoes---some lean ham and
lowfat cheese ---there's no reason why you can't
fit sandwiches into a diet plan !
Eggs on a diet ? Break 2 eggs and remove one
yolk (the yellow part) It's Low Cholesterol too !
Veggie Burgers in the market made with low
calorie Soy are quite tasty.
It's a good idea to eat 5 small "meals" rather than
the traditional 3---another rule you might break is
the one about no snacks---and they don't have to
be fruit as "they" say---olives , a bit of prosciutto
ham, crackers , rice cakes ( think ethnic)
I had a friend who loved Canned Peaches ( dump
the sugarry liquid) with Cottage Cheese ---ate
this combo every day and stayed slim !
Better to enjoy ----than think "I musn't eat"---it's
more the choice of foods that counts---
and
30 minutes total "rapid movement " is
most important ---notice I didn't use the word
"exercise" !
Good luck !

I have been working on losing weight myself after having our second child. For lunch I do sometimes have one slice of whole wheat bread, 1 teaspoon of light mayo and a couple slices of turkey. Can always add lettuce and/or tomato on there too. When it's just once slice (and whole wheat) it's not too much for carbs and the whole wheat is so much better for you than white. If I get bored with that, sometimes I'll toast the slice of bread, surprising how it makes the sandwich taste completely different! I do like using Slim Fast myself and will sometimes just have a glass of that instead or with an apple. Of course a salad or fruit mixture would be good options too. Slowly but surely the weight is coming off, so my choices must not be too bad! Good luck!

Sandwiches are a good choice as long as you're smart about what kind of sandwich you eat. It should have some kind of lean protein like chicken or turkey, and be on whole wheat bread or on a pita. No white bread! Also, exchange the mayonnaise for dijon mustard or vinegar, and incorporate some fresh veggies like lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, etc. Now you have a really healthy sandwich.

If you are on a diet then you can eat a sandwich, but watch what you put on it. Mayo is very fattening and even the bread is a carb so have you thought of lettuce wraps. That's probably something really healthy to eat for lunch. Also don't get chips get a piece of fruit instead.

You can eat a sandwich when you are on a diet. Turkey and chicken is a good sandwich to have. Just don't eat any more bread the rest of the day.

Sure a sandwich is good - BUT leave the Bread and the condiments out. I tell my kids Im making a sandwich and I roll the lunch meat up with the lettuce and cheese. Poke a tooth pick through it..... That's ANY sandwich.
