I have been talking to alot of pregnant women, and they said that one sign that your starting to prepare for your belly to drop, but most of them are getting the symptoms after about 31-32 wks, and I have already experienced most of the signs they are just now having at 27-28wks. I am not sure if this makes any sense but if you could please try to answer this i would greatly appreciae it! Thanks! All your answers mean a great deal!

God Bless

It can happen anytime--anywhere from 27 to 39 weeks! Each pregnancy is different.

I just started to drop with this pregnancy around 30 weeks, but now that I'm 36 weeks it's pretty obvious. It doesn't mean you'll go into labor though. Your body is just preparing.

First of all if you are too worried about it call and talk to your doc, they will ease your mind or have you come in and make sure everything is all right etc. From my personal knowledge lightening or dropping as it's also called can happen several weeks before you actually deliver. Any where from several weeks to right before labor begins. 27-28 wks sounds a bit early to me, but i am not your doc. At 33 wks pregnant i was having some weird kind of heavy duty cramps by my pelvic bone and they worsened whenever i moved and were not as bad when i sat down and gone when i layed down. I called my doc and explained what was going on and he told me it could be that our baby was dropping, had turned from face forward to back forward and was rubbing on my pelvic bone, he said that the cramping might last another couple days then should subside. He said as long as there is no bleeding, increased discharge or gush or fluid there is nothing really to worry about. BUT if any of the last three things happened to call him right away.
Call your doctor with any concerns, that is what they are there for. Good luck!

If you are a first-time mother, it might happen earlier, like 27-28 weeks or so but the average is more like 35 weeks.

For second-time mothers, they usually drop much closer to labor, like a week or so before.

I'm not sure what the average is, but I dropped at 28 weeks, and I am still pregnant nearly ten weeks later.

40-one weeks. extra females pass over their due date than no longer. that's the standard nevertheless. does no longer advise your buddy will or won't pass into hard artwork earlier then. it certainly relies upon on whilst her physique says it incredibly is time. feels like her physique is preparing for hard artwork. yet none of this provides any indication of whilst it is going to certainly initiate for her. She only desires to be looking out for commonplace contractions and/or her water breaking.
