Hi, my cd/dvd player sometimes plays then wont read.?

player says eject about 50% Of the time,otherwise works fine? any idea's? (on hi fi not pc)

What make is it?

It sounds like the laser lens is dirty. If that's the case, you can buy cleaning discs for about a fiver. In most situations, that will cure the misreading problem.
