I watch the show because it is hilarious! but i have no idea who he is ... i gather he is a famous rock star? but can someone give me more details ... does he have a lot of money?

Brett Michaels was/is the lead singer of the heavy metal glam band Poison. They were very successful and had a string of hits in the late 80s, but the "grunge" movement of the early 90s pushed them out of the spotlight. They still do tour and from what I understand have a decent sized and loyal following. They sold a ton of records, so if Brett was smart with his money he should be pretty well off.

Lead singer of POISON, I'm sure he is very rich because they sold millions of records. They were really big in the 80's. Brett also was in a few movies other than the one he made w/ Pam Anderson. (o;
Did you ever see the Surreal Life? C.C. Deville was also in Poison w/ Brett, C.C. was on the Surreal life, he was the guy w/ the wild crazy blonde hair.
My dad is 79 yrs. old and he too had no idea of who Brett Michaels was until he started watching Rock of Love! FUNNY, he started watching it from day one and has not yet missed an episode. He loves it so much that he even watched the marathon on Sunday.
Brett still looks good at 44 (I think), in the 80's he looked even better, he had a HOT bod that was very muscular and no wrinkles.
The first concert I ever seen was Poison, it was April 19th. 1989 and I was only 14 yrs. old. My brother who was 3 yrs. older than me took me and than my brother ended up dying 3 mos. and 10 days later, him & 2 of his friends committed suicide. I always have a special place in my heart for Poison.

No, i do no longer think of i will. Bret Michales has continually been solid looking. He would not have any problems finding a girl buddy so why the coach? Flav is uglier than a hand-crafted sin so he easily needed help! i'm specific VH1 has their motives for doing yet another coach yet i think they could desire to have long gone in yet another course. Why no longer use somebody who isn't very appropriate like Ron Jeremy or Dustin Diamond or extra suitable yet why no longer pass the total opposite course and make the guy openly gay? An Alexis Arquette version may well be hilarious or how approximately Perez Hilton? That i might easily watch because of fact it hasn't been achieved yet.

THEN: Lead singer for an 80's band called Poison.
NOW: A dried up has-been that should retire from stardom gracefully, but wasting another time slot on TV with some pathetic show. The only reason those skanks are there in the first place is their getting an appearance fee.

I know you have heard that song "every rose has its thorn." By Poison.. He was the lead singer.
And he was at one time (the 80's) a famous rock star, but not so much anymore... Now he does reality TV shows for VH1.
But you are right- that show is friggin funny- I am addicted too. He probably has a good amount of money from royalties to his songs and stuff.

Bret Michaels is absolutely amazing, along with the rest of Poison, a hair metal band back in the 80's who are still touring today (still amazing), they are anything but average!
