I wouldn't worry about getting older, it's the fact of life but enjoy your time still being very young :)

im 20 and I feel the same way. However, I'm looking forward to getting older. I agree you grow wiser and you understand more and see more when you are older. There is not really a bad part to it. You may not be able to get around like you once did. There is good and ad to being old and young. It just all depends on how you look at it and what you expect to do with your life.

The upside of getting older is the maturity and wisdom that comes with age, the downside is well..... getting older...lol....seriously though it's not bad and to be honest i'm 30 and some days i still have emotions for no reason that make me still feel like i'm 15. I have 6 girls and parenting is rough and there are days i feel like i don't know what i'm doing and i just wanna cry, THOSE are the days i feel like an insecure teenager again.

If you are only 21 why are you worried about getting old.
You have years left before you need to even start considering that.
I'm more than double your age and enjoying life even more than I did when I was your age, this might be because of the company I keep and the love I feel for my fiancee.
Believe me when I say if you find the right person to love and you can enjoy life and grow older together, it just keeps getting better

if your a girl then you have things to worry about, find a gym and go work out hard to stay in shape cuz once you start to put on weight it will not come off and you will have a hard time finding a man that will love you. no really im telling you the truth

if you a guy then you have the world by the tail cuz you get more handsome as you get older

The good, hopefully you learn more about life and can offer true wisdom to the younger folk.
The bad, at 29(30 in December), forty isn't looking that old anymore, especially since my man will be 40 next June!!!

LOL....it can suck if you try to stay 21 and not realize how wonderful each age is.

There's something wonderfully freeing about getting older and if you embrace that getting older can be fun, exciting, sexy, and adventurous.

I'm old enough to be your mother and I'm enjoying my life more now than ever before.....I'm married to a terrific person, our daughter is finished with college and own her own, we have enough money we can do pretty much whatever we like....and we're both heatlhy.....so what's not to like?

I am 37 now, on the cusp of "being old"...

The Good of Getting Older
You have a better sense of self. You understand and know yourself better. What other people think of you doesn't matter so much.

The Bad of Getting Older
Physical stuff. Your skin sags instead of bounces... It takes longer to recover from a hangover...

Advice
Live life to its fullest, for if you do not, you will regret the day you decided not to. The Universe will take care of you no matter which path you take.

It depends on your out look on life. My dad is 93 he only takes three medications Still enjoys going to the movies, going out for lunch or dinner. He goes to theater once a month because he enjoys seeing a good play or musical. He goes to church every Sunday, helps me with gardening loves to invite his friends over for cookouts or to watch the football games. He enjoys every moment of each day. The hardest thing for him is that most of his friends have past on but hes made some new ones and still lives at home.

As someone who is 36, I remind my friends that the alternative to getting older is dying.

That sucks a whole lot more.
