Don't worry about it. Pour about 20 kettles worth of boiling water down, that should reduce its size alot. Don't worry about cracking your toilet with boiling water, lol, don't know what kind of toilet that guy has. I have always cleaned my toilets with vinegar and a few kettles of boiling water, never cracked one yet.
Don't "use" the toilet for a day, liquids are ok. Put 2 kettles worth down, leave it for a couple of minutes, flush, and repeat until 20 kettles worth is done. By then, after all this stress and fear of a big plumbing bill you will need to pass solids anyway, do so, test it out, I bet it will be fine. If it does block up, don't panick, it won't flow out. Let it subside and do another 20 kettles.

First off, do not pour boiling water into your toilet. Doing that can crack the bowl, then you won't have to worry about that soap any more.
Second, don't put Drano or other clog remover down there. They will react with the soap violently and could literally blow your toilet out of the floor.
A snake is your best bet, all you should need is a closet auger type. You might have to stay at it in the hopes of just making the stuck soap small enough to flush, but it's your best option.

My son did the same thing (almost, it was a toy) last week. You'll need to take the toilet off. Canadian Tire has a plumbing snake for $12.00. Put the snake in through the bottom and push it out through the front. I guess you could try to push the bar of soap through the front so it goes down the pipes but that might not be the best solution.

I would try using a small plumbers snake,,you can rent one ,,or buy one for about 15 to 20 dollars at Wal Mart or K Mart,,,this will break it up or you might be able to push it through,, the soap is stuck some where in there ,,but you know that,,it will dissolve sooner or later ,,I'm guessing you want it out now,,get the toilet snake and get it over with ,,,just be easy using the snake let it do the work don't force it to hard, while you are turning it ,,you can do this,, it's no big deal !!!!

Because it's soap I would think time would eventually melt it enough to plunge it through. I've left soap in a basin of water before for an entire afternoon and when I went to pick it up it was almost half way melted. Maybe if you waited another day or so and tried to flush again the water around it would do the job on it's own.

it wont get too long to melt if you pour hot water through the pipe or just water and leave and forget it for some time.again after some time if you pour water ,if it drains slowly it means that the soap has started melting and has given a gap to allow water to pass through.just keep the water flowing through the toilet,it will soon dissolve the soap and your toilet will get unblocked.you don't need a plumber for this.thanks for your thanks ,if you feel my answer helped you.

I'd say let it sit in there for a good 2 hours, then try to flush it. Soap melts in water pritty fast so I think you might have to just wait it out. I guess you could try to pour some really hot water down there. like a gallon or 2 of boiling water, I bet that would help melt it.

A good old fashion plunger won't work? Honestly I wouldn't put boiling water down a toilet. Soap isn't ice, temperature wont have much of an effect on its melting.

You can buy or rent a "snake" to dislodge the soap bar, however, eventually the soap will disintigrate on it's own. Just be careful not to use too much paper or flush solids that may cause additional blockage.

Soap dissolves after a while in water. Just wait overnight, give it a few shots with the plunger to move it around a bit, and it will almost definately be small enough to pass through the pipes.
